This service is designed for delivery of heavier shipments to Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and Namibia.
Namibia: | Original Tax Invoice containing Shipper’s Vat Number and consignee’s tax number, must be attached to all non-document shipments.F178 bank form attached to all shipments over the value of R50000.00 |
Botswana: | Original Tax Invoice containing Shippers Vat Number and consignee Tin number, starting with “CO,” must be attached to all non-document shipments.F178 bank form attached to all shipments over the value of R50000.00
Copy of “T34 Tax Exemption” certificate to be attached to shipments consigned to government organisations. |
Lesotho: | Original Tax Invoice attached to all non-document shipments F178 bank form attached to all shipments over the value of R50000.00 |
Swaziland: | Original Tax Invoice attached to all non-document shipments F178 bank form attached to all shipments over the value of R50000.00 |
All other destinations: | A commercial Invoice must be attached to all non-document shipments F178 bank form attached to all shipments over the value of R50000.00 |
Pre-shipment Inspections: | There are some East and West African countries that require pre-shipment inspections to determine the quality, quantity and value of the cargo.
This inspection certificate must be attached to the shipment upon upliftment. |
High Value Shipments: | All high value shipments being imported or exported will require a formal clearance through customs (SARS), and therefore all South African shippers/consignee’s must obtain an Importer/Exporter code by registering with Customs. |
